First Day of School

Well it is here.  A day I honestly never thought would come.  Hubby and I took our oldest to Kindergarten for the first time today.  Actually it is the first time she has EVER been in school.  No I am not one of those parents that lives in denial that their baby is growing up.  Actually I welcome it.  However, we had planned from pregnancy to homeschool our children.  That is still as dream of ours and we know that we can start anytime, but for now this is what is right for our family.

The next kid doesn’t go to school for 3 years (if he goes into public) and I will spend those 3 years homeschooling him and baby girl (as needed).  I can’t say what will happen in 3 years when L is ready for K, but I can say for now Good luck M in Kindergarten and Good Luck Ms. Wunsch dealing with my darling, bossy, know-it-all, sweet girl.

She picked out her outfit today.  She was very excited about going to school.

About BrandilynRC

Brandilyn is a middle-aged (When the hell did that happen?) stay-at-home mom to 3 beautiful children (of course she is biased). She started reading M/M Romance and Gay fiction in early 2012 and was quickly hooked. In her first 18 months as a M/M Romance fan, she read over 900 titles in the genre (not counting re-reads), ranging from shorts to epic novels. She reads across all tropes within the Gay Fiction genre…. except Regency, she has never found a love for Regency. A native Texan she finds Texas to the be almost perfect… except for one thing, their treatment of the GLBTQ community. This blog is her brain child and she is happy to welcome some fellow GLBTQ supporters to review here and help promote equality (oh and of course fangirl/fanboy over their favorite authors and works).
