Thanks so much for hosting me. This is going to be dirty fun. Hehe!
Last April, I attended my very first author’s workshop ever. I was terrified, didn’t know what to expect, and had no clue if I would even fit in with writers from all over the world. Soon, I found I had a lot in common with these people. The coolest part was that we all seemed to be on the same frequency, and it was so refreshing to talk about M/M Romance without having to edit myself.
Jennifer Cross led a session about writing sex scenes. Part of that class was doing some impromptu writing exercises, so I wrote. I happened to be seated at the same table as the Executive Director of Dreamspinner Press (my boss!), Jaime Samms, and B.G. Thomas. All of them were strangers to me at the time, so when Jennifer asked us to read these excerpts aloud, my entire face bloomed. And I don’t normally blush!
What I’m sharing with you today is the first scene I wrote that day. I decided to write a scene with my beloved Hugo Thorson and Kevin Magnus from my North Star Trilogy. Readers never saw this in Spark, and because of the Young Adult nature of Private Display of Affection, you most certainly won’t see it in that or the sequel I’m working on. This is how I imagine Hugo and Kevin’s reunion sex was after some forced time apart.
The kisses Hugo peppered across Kevin’s neck were tender and wet, leaving a cool tingle behind as Hugo moved down the center of his spine. Filled with anticipation, Kevin clamped his eyes shut tight and drew a shuddery breath in through his nose.
When Hugo got to the small of Kevin’s back, kisses were diverted, his mouth sliding over ticklish spots at Kevin’s side as he was urged to roll over. Kevin complied, even if he was disappointed. He rolled and groaned when Hugo took Kevin’s hard prick into his mouth. Hugo glanced up and grinned with a mouth full of cock before pulling off with a pop.
“Yeah,” Kevin managed to get out.
“Come on,” Hugo urged as he placed pressure on the back of Kevin’s thighs. “Open up for me.”
Kevin easily complied, pulling his knees to his chest. He wanted so badly for Hugo to instinctively know what he wanted. He hoped Hugo would do it. But Hugo slid Kevin’s cock past his lips again instead.
It felt good. Really good, so Kevin gave up his hope and fell into the moment. Hugo was good at this, and Kevin was soon close to coming. Hugo suddenly pulled away. He plunged his tongue into Kevin and started rimming his hole like he’d been waiting months to eat his ass.
It was surprising how decadent this felt. Kevin allowed himself to get carried away in the sinful feel of Hugo’s tongue. He allowed himself to be selfish and to take all that was being given in such a free way.
Maybe Hugo had been waiting months to do this. Maybe he’d been dreaming of this while Kevin was off attempting to please his fuck of a father. But they were back together now, and it almost felt as if they needed to make up for lost time. They surely needed to reconnect.
Hugo stroked Kevin’s cock, and the stimulation was intense. Kevin couldn’t process everything. He was having a hard time holding back when there were so many wonderful sensations to process.
Then Hugo stared up at him with those dark blue eyes. He looked content and totally at ease. He was beautiful.
Kevin’s breaths were growing erratic. His heart was pounding loudly in his ears. He let out a pathetic noise. Hugo must’ve been able to tell how close he was, because he moved back up, taking Kevin’s cock back in his mouth. He tongued inside Kevin’s foreskin, licking all around his crown, and then he slipped a finger or two in Kevin’s ass.
“Oh God!” Kevin cried as Hugo stroked his prostate, which pushed Kevin over the edge. “Oh God,” he whispered again and again as Hugo drew every drop out of Kevin’s cock and drank it down.
Hugo’s eyes never left him. He moved in for a kiss as Kevin’s body still shuddered in aftershocks from his intense orgasm.
Kevin could taste himself on Hugo’s tongue, so he deepened the kiss. Slowly, Hugo made their kisses less intense, softer. Kevin tried to pull him closer by tangling his fingers in Hugo’s wavy hair, but he wouldn’t give in.
“I know you like what I do to your body and how I make you feel, but you really should know after all this time that my name is Hugo and not God.”
Kevin chuckled and shook his head.
“Now,” Hugo said with a smirk as he made a dramatic show of opening a condom and rolling it over his hard cock. “Let’s see if I can make you forget again.”
About the Author
Posy Roberts lives in the land of 10,000 lakes and loves that the healing nature of water is just outside her door. She loves a clean house, even if she can’t keep up with her daughter’s messes, and prefers foods that are enriched with meat, noodles, and cheese. She also loves people, even though she has to spend considerable amounts of time away from them after helping to solve their interpersonal problems at her day job.
Real life is what Posy writes about, particularly men in love that face both mundane and extraordinary circumstances. Her characters have to find a way to make their relationships work, even when all hope is gone. Families are often at the heart of her stories, and she’s not afraid of digging into some deep psychological issues where characters are challenged with difficult choices.
Posy is married to a wonderful man who makes sure she eats while she documents these lives. She also has a remarkable daughter who helps her come up with character names. When she’s not writing, she enjoys karaoke, hiking, and singing spontaneously about the mundane, just to make normal seem
Posy has agreed to give 1 lucky commenter their choice of North Star Trilogy title (Spark, Fusion, or Flare) or Winter’s YA title Private Display’s of Affection.
