Friends and Frenchmen by A. Lusch ~ Reviewed by Paisley

Much like the first story in the series this one is short and steamy. David is on a quest to meet Mr. Right and he uses all his resources (and technology) to do it!

From the Publisher:

With David in his mid-30’s, it’s time to get serious about finding a husband. Too many men and not enough time, mean he’s embarked on the challenge of a lifetime; to date a new man every week for a year until he finds THE ONE.

With one date out the way, and many more to come, David’s realising there’s a reason it’s so hard to find a soulmate. And, with friends, lovers and lust getting in the way, finding a husband might be harder than he thought.

My View

This second installment of the “52 First Dates” finds David once again looking for love and using his smartphone to do it. Because I am old and married I had no idea that so many dating apps were available. Really it’s hilarious because David is wandering around London and finding all kinds of guys (some he would rather not find) and they simply text back and forth, and even include naughty pictures. He is on a mission to find Mr. Right.

It was nice to see some more insight into his life, and also see some of the same friends that we met in the first story be included again.  I think the way he is so dedicated to the cause is pretty funny but it is also enlightening to see how the hook up scene is portrayed.  I am looking forward to reading more about David’s adventures in Datingland.
