Title: And If I Offered Thee A Bargain
Author: Jules Jones
My Rating: 3 of 5 stars
From the Publisher:
Jack never dreamed that a reluctant trip back to his home town would thrust him into the world of the sidhe. He finds that the legends are true, but the sidhe have changed. They have a new bargain to offer the mortals who bring them fresh stories and share new technologies.
But is the price of this new bargain worth it?
This is the story of Jack, who takes a trip back to his hometown where he stumbles upon a Sidhe named Fregal. The two spend some time together and realize they truly enjoy one another and want to spend more time together. Fregal offers Jack a deal, but can he truly be trusted and will Jacks life ever be the same again?
What I enjoyed about this book was it was very sweet and passionate but not overly so. I do wish that the characters were a little deeper and the writing a bit cleaner but with that said it was very romantic, bittersweet and funny read for a short story.
I would like to thank MUSA for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
