Josh is secretly in love with Erick. How could he not be? Erick is sweet, funny, smart, and as wonderful as he is handsome. He’s simply everything Josh could ever want in a man. Plus, there’s no one in the world that knows or understands him better. After all, Josh and Erick have been friends and companions for as long as either can remember.
But Josh is sure that he’ll never find the right opportunity to share his feelings with Erick.
However, everything changes when Josh creates a profile on the popular online social network, Visive Encounters, a video chat website that randomly arranges face-to-face meetings with strangers via webcam. One night, in a collision of fate and software algorithms, Josh is more than surprised when his monitor reflects a mirror image…his random connection is none other than the object of his desire, his twin brother Erick.
With only a screen of pixels separating them, will Josh finally be able to confess his more-than-brotherly feelings to his twin? Will a lifetime of memories be enough to hold the brothers together?
Josh and Erick are twins and live together. Josh has been in love with Erick for as long as he can remember but would never have the courage to do anything about it……that would be wrong, right?
For years Josh has watched his brother wandering around their home with his shirt off and lived through his own fantasies. It made his heart ache when he had to listen to his straight brother having sex with girls he brought home.
One evening whilst feeling horny and giving into his voyeurism Josh logs onto a VisiveEncounters.com looking for a man to masturbate with. After flicking through the first few options on his screen he comes across a very attractive male seemingly looking for the same thing. When the other man adjusts his webcam Josh is stunned to recognise his brothers bedroom. Feeling brave he walks down the corridor to his brothers room to confront him. Before he knows what is happening they are back in front of Ericks webcam masturbating each other in front of a third person.
This happens again another night and before long the two brothers decide to go out on a date together. Erick has a feeling of being watched at the restaurant but doesn’t see anyone he knows so thinks nothing else about it. The date is a success until the next morning. The boys are awoken by someone hammering on their front door and discover their older brother Connor holding an envelope containing photos of them kissing.
Enter Ericks very jealous and slightly psychotic ex girlfriend. After Erick caught her being unfaithful and dumped her she has been stalking him. She has sent photos of them out on their date to their brother, father and their workplaces. Josh loses his job and their father won’t speak to them.
Although it was Josh who wanted this relationship when the situation gets difficult it is Erick that hangs on and reassures. After the ex girlfriend goes mad and one of them ends up in hospital their love for each other is very clear and although their father cannot understand it he is at least speaking to them again.
I think this book just went a little fast. Everyone seemed to be ok with their relationship too quickly. Josh had always assumed Erick was straight given all the girls he brought home but he was suddenly admitting that he was in love with his brother and wanted a relationship. . It’s a shame we didn’t hear more of Ericks point of view
It would be a great book for someone new to this subject who is perhaps unsure about it.
