From the Publisher:
After an explosive locker room confrontation with his Russian rival ends in the most surprising and intense sex of his life, American pairs skater Dev Avira needs to refocus. He’s worked for years to win Olympic gold, and he can’t let himself—or his partner—down. Distraction in the form of steely and smoldering Mikhail Reznikov is the last thing he needs as he prepares for the biggest competition of his life.
But with the Games only days away, they can’t keep their hands off each other. Dev soon learns that beneath Mikhail’s arrogant and aloof exterior is Misha, a passionate man who warms Dev’s heart and scorches his bed. They’re both determined to win, but for Misha his freedom could be on the line. Can Dev put his deepening feelings on ice as he goes for gold?
American pairs figure skater Dev Avira is at the top of his game. The only thing stopping him from winning gold is the cold but technically perfect Mikhail and his partner. At the latest competition, Dev and his partner once again take the Silver Medal. Feeling the judging was unfair a very angry Dev confronts Mikhail in the changing room after the event. Anger turns to lust, and the two men have a very quick but very hot encounter.
Weeks later as the teams arrive for the Winter Olympics Dev knows he needs to keep his mind clear and concentrate on his skating, but he can’t get the Mikhail out of his mind. After another very hot encounter with each other, the strain starts to show when his skating partner Britney finds out, and it starts to affect their performance.
Dev vows to stay away from his opposition realising that the competition is the most important thing in his life. Winning Gold is all he has worked towards for 4 years but knowing that Mikhail, or Misha, to his friends has such different reasons for wanting to win doesn’t make it easy. He also has trouble reconciling Mikhail the aloof skater and Misha the fragile lover.
With the drama of an accident just before the competition adding to everyone’s stress levels, Dev and Mikhail need to dig deeply for the competition and hope there is something left to offer each other at the end of it.
