Thanks and Winners

pba_logo

I wanted to thank each and every one of you for joining the relaunch in January.  The official relaunch may be over, but there is still a LOT of fun to be had here on PBA, so don’t go anywhere.

First, lets look back at January.  I asked each of my reviewers to answer 1 question, “Why do I read and review M/M romance?”, and give you a list of their “authors to watch”.  I hope you have enjoyed getting to know each of the lovely readers here.  We each have our own style and our own likes and dislikes. I hope the diversity of opinions will benefit you.

I have already done both those things (where do you think the inspiration for those posts came from 😉 ) .  Here is my “Why I Review” post.  It isn’t completely accurate, as I have revamped the blog since writing that post in November of 2013 (just over 2 months ago, wow!).  First of all we expanded, renamed, and redesigned.   As a result, we can bring you a LOT more reviews of great GLBT fiction.  We also can bring you a wider variety of stories as well as guest posts and interviews from your favorite authors.

One of my favorite parts of the new direction of the blog is that I can feature more of the “lesser known” authors and help get their name out there.  I think it is the little sister in me, I have a soft spot for the underdog 😉 .

I wanted to thank all the authors that have worked with us this month.  It was a crazy busy month here on PBA.  Here is a list of all the authors that visited us this month:

Whoa, that is quite a list (I hope I didn’t leave anyone off!!!).  In addition we had 67 reviews and 1636 comments!

Thanks for a fabulous January.  We aren’t going anywhere, though.  We have lots of great stuff planned for February.

Thank you to everyone who commented and supported all the fabulous authors that were featured on PBA in January, either through a guest post or through a review.

Winners for the individual author contests can be found here.

Good news! I have decided to continue the contest in February, just a little scaled back.  All commenters and subscribers will be put into a pot to win 1 of 2 $25 gift card or donation prizes.

Farewell Giveaway
I have a number of paperbacks, most of which are signed, to giveaway. Over the between now (11 Mar 2017) and 31 Mar 2017, every comment on the blog (this post and all other new posts), will be entered to win 1 of these paperbacks. There are also some misc swag items, so there will be a few packs of these to give away as well.

Thank you so much for your support over the last 4 years. Prism will be closing its doors on 1 April 2017. All content will remain available, but no new content will appear after 31 Mar 2017. As such all request forms have been turned off. Again Thank you,

Brandilyn

About BrandilynRC

Brandilyn is a middle-aged (When the hell did that happen?) stay-at-home mom to 3 beautiful children (of course she is biased). She started reading M/M Romance and Gay fiction in early 2012 and was quickly hooked. In her first 18 months as a M/M Romance fan, she read over 900 titles in the genre (not counting re-reads), ranging from shorts to epic novels. She reads across all tropes within the Gay Fiction genre…. except Regency, she has never found a love for Regency. A native Texan she finds Texas to the be almost perfect… except for one thing, their treatment of the GLBTQ community. This blog is her brain child and she is happy to welcome some fellow GLBTQ supporters to review here and help promote equality (oh and of course fangirl/fanboy over their favorite authors and works).
