I think I am in love with Havan Fellows. Nope, I know I am in love!

Wick Templeton and Ned Harris have grown quite comfortable in the life they’ve built together. So comfortable—in fact—that when Ned decided to go cross country to check on an old friend of his, Wick can’t bear to be apart from him and tags along.
Yeah, that’s the story Wick gives. In reality, Wick doesn’t share and he just wants to make sure this old friend understands that.
Three days to spend not jealously watching over his lover’s every move—at a campground in Flagstaff, Arizona, no less. How much trouble could Wick possibly find?
If you have read my previous reviews, you know my view of Havan Fellow’s talents. With Wicked Winds, Ms. Fellows once again proved me correct. She is amazingly talented and has delivered another fantastic addition to the Pulp Friction world.
Wicked Winds brings back Wick and Ned from Pulp Friction 2013. In true Wick fashion, chaos ensues from the minute he steps into a room! His mouth runs a mile a minute and he shoots first and asks questions later. His internal dialogue is highly entertaining. However, also in true Wick fashion he gets to the heart of things and brings about honesty and change. He may be a bastard, but people are better off for having him in their lives.
I loved seeing the growth between Wick and Ned. Their relationship is not perfect and Wick has some major issues, but the men are made for each other. I felt so bad for Wick, but Ned’s acceptance of him as he is brought tears to my eyes. This was a very emotional tale. Yet its was also HOT. The car scene and Wick taking control of Ned at the end, man, I needed to lower the temperature on my A/C. I loved it!
And we FINALLY learn more about Rowen. OMG! Poor Rowen! I was expecting some kind of something to cause his erratic hermitted behavior, but I had not idea it was so awful. Ms. Fellows ripped my heart out once again and left me hanging. I am so glad Rowen’s next installment is due out very soon because I just know there is something great about to happen.
I cannot recommend this series enough. Whispering Winds is outstanding and I am in love with the series as well as the author. Her characters are so complex and well written. I think this is my favorite read so far this year.
I would like to thank the author for providing me with the eARC of this title in exchange for my honest opinion.
