After a difficult year, Ayla Hammond wants to give her girlfriend Shannon a dream Christmas. A cozy, romantic cabin in the woods seems like the perfect way to put their troubles behind them and start the New Year right. And at first, everything is going according to Ayla’s plan…until night falls.

There’s something in the woods. And it’s after Shannon.

My View:

Short and Sweet Wolf Style
Alyla is a werewolf with a knack for getting herself caught up with the wrong company, a rogue werewolf, a vampire and now a nixie is after her mate Shannon.

Cold Night Moon is a short story, the latest in this unique couples adventures… or should that be misadventures? Either way they are back and I am glad! It was really nice to see them again, somewhere along the way Alyla and Shannon have become old friends. Because this is a short story and the 5th of a series there is not a lot in the way of character development or growth. Instead Ms Clark gets right into the action. The one heated love scene is everything I’ve come to expect in this series… Very nice!

The story is well written, engaging and held my attention till the very end. I quite enjoyed it but wished it would have been a bit longer. I do wonder what the future holds in store for these two, I can’t wait!
