Jamie’s life is one big financial mess, and it really isn’t his fault. However, the last thing he expected to find in the library was a Good Samaritan. He might have been suspicious of Guy’s motives at first, but it soon becomes apparent that his savior is a good man who has been lucky in life and is looking to pay it forward. Guy being gay is not a problem. Jamie’s not interested… or so he thinks.
Guy is happy to help Jamie, and the two men get along fine. But when Jamie’s curiosity leads him from one thing to another, Guy finds himself looking at the young man with new eyes. What started out as a hand up is now something completely different
Absolutely loved this book. Straight to gay love story and sweet.
Jaime feels like life can’t get any worse for him, but he’s trying to make it work. Then he runs into a man who sees his struggles and wants to offer a reprieve. Guy has been where Jaime is and so wants to help the boy not to struggle and to make something of his life. Guy figures Jaime being gay is just icing on the cake. Or so he thinks. Jaime is straight. Or so he thinks. Guy offers Jaime a place to live and to help him financially. No strings attached. Just that he has to help someone down the road and return the favor. Jaime is skeptical but doesn’t feel he has much of a choice and accepts. As time goes on, Jaime discovers he’s not as straight as he thought and things between him and Guy change. Both discover as their time goes on that they are what each other wants and needs and learn to build a life together.
